On March 5, 2025, Rep. Valadao expressed his appreciation for the Citygate Network while speaking on behalf of the Mission at Kern County. He emphasized the importance of their work with the homeless population in his community, stating “It was great speaking to Citygate Network on behalf of the Mission at Kern County this week. The work they do for the homeless population in our community is crucial, and I look forward to our continued partnership.”

The following day, March 6, 2025, he announced his co-leadership in reintroducing the Veteran Education Assistance Adjustment Act. This bipartisan bill aims to increase annual stipends for educational materials to support veterans’ success both academically and beyond. In his tweet, he stated “I’m proud to co-lead the reintroduction of the Veteran Education Assistance Adjustment Act. This bipartisan bill increases the annual stipend for educational materials to ensure our veterans can succeed in the classroom and beyond.”

Later that day, Rep. Valadao addressed another legislative effort focused on supporting rural communities through cooperatives. Highlighting their essential role in providing services such as healthcare and housing, he shared “Cooperatives are the backbone of rural communities, providing critical services like healthcare, housing, and childcare. I’m proud to co-lead the Strengthening Rural Cooperatives and Communities Act to invest in the future of our rural economies and Central Valley families.”
