On April 17, Valadao tweeted, “This week, I met with Kern Family Health Care to discuss Medicaid. We spoke about the importance of the program for families in the Central Valley, and I reiterated my support. It was great hearing their perspective and I look forward to our continued conversations.”

Later that day, Valadao announced his attendance at a local event, “I had a great time attending the Hanford Hybrid Energy Center Battery Storage Facility ribbon cutting. This is a milestone that represents not just progress for our local community, but a meaningful step forward for California’s energy future.”

On April 18, he shared another tweet, “This week, I met with the Kern County Probation Department. We spoke about their innovative strategies to reduce recidivism and support successful re-entry into society for people in the justice system. I truly appreciate their commitment to making Kern County safer.”
