On Friday, Jan. 31, former Sierra Pacific High School standout Kennedy Usher’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, won 17-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Sul Ross Lobos.

The game took place at Los Lunas Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lobos this season.

The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. at Los Lunas Sports Complex against West Texas A&M Buffaloes.
