On 11/27/2022 at approximately 5:33 p.m., the Hanford Police Department responded to the area of Phillips Street and Highway 198 for a report of a subject who had been shot. On arrival, officers located an unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds. The male victim, Eulalio Castillo, was transported to Kaweah Health Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

Shortly after the shooting, a vehicle was observed traveling westbound on Third Street which is a one-way street for eastbound traffic. Through investigation, the vehicle involved in the shooting appears to be a white BMW 700-series. A photo has been attached to this press release showing what is believed to be the involved vehicle from video surveillance located in the area. 

The Hanford Police Department is requesting anyone with information regarding the shooting or suspect information to contact the Hanford Police Department. Please call 559-585-2540 or text 559-379-6093 with any information.
