On Friday, Jan. 31, former Hanford West High School standout Trent Avitia’s current college team, the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros.

The game took place at Dan Martin Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Toros this season.

The Sunbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 12 p.m. at Dan Martin Stadium against Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros.
