I’m proud to see this effort to strengthen fire suppression and keep Californians safe moving forward.”

The following day, on February 6, 2025, Rep. Valadao addressed concerns regarding human trafficking in government contracts by introducing new legislation. He remarked, “Human trafficking is unacceptable, yet reports show federal agencies aren’t acting to prevent it in government contracts.
