On February 10, 2025, Rep. Valadao expressed relief over the withdrawal of a proposed regulation by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) that aimed to ban nearly all diesel trucks. He noted that while he supports efforts to reduce emissions, the rule would have had significant negative impacts on California’s economy and agriculture supply chain. While I support emissions reduction, this rule would have severely impacted California’s economy and agriculture supply chain, driving up prices for consumers.”

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Valadao highlighted his involvement with the Tim Tebow Foundation’s annual Night to Shine event in Bakersfield. This event is designed to offer a memorable prom night experience for individuals with intellectual disabilities. He announced his support as a cosponsor of the Disaster Resiliency & Coverage Act which aims to assist homeowners in funding risk reduction upgrades for their properties.
