Rep. David Valadao, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 22nd district, shared updates on recent legislative efforts through a series of tweets. Valadao has been actively involved in various initiatives aimed at improving services and raising awareness about health issues.

On May 6, 2025, Rep. Valadao announced the introduction of the FAIR Fleets Act alongside Representative Jim Costa to modernize the USPS vehicle fleet. “I introduced the FAIR Fleets Act alongside @RepJimCosta to modernize the USPS vehicle fleet. Too often, deliveries are delayed because the USPS lacks resources, and this bill takes important steps to ensure people receive dependable mail services no matter where they live.”

The following day, on May 7, 2025, he tweeted about a resolution he introduced as co-chair of the Asthma and Allergy Caucus with Representative Debbie Dingell to designate May as “National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month.” The initiative aims to educate people about quality-of-life issues surrounding asthma and allergies. “As co-chair of the Asthma and Allergy Caucus, I introduced a resolution with @RepDebDingell to designate May as ‘National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month’ to help educate about the quality-of-life issues surrounding asthma and allergies.”

David Valadao was born in Hanford, California in 1977 and has served in Congress since replacing TJ Cox in 2021.
