Rep. David Valadao, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 22nd District, recently shared his views and initiatives through a series of tweets addressing critical issues such as wildfire prevention and honoring military families. His position reflects ongoing legislative efforts aimed at reducing wildfire risks and commemorating sacrifices within military communities.

On April 4, 2025, Rep. Valadao addressed the issue of bureaucratic challenges in forest management which exacerbate wildfire risks. Valadao expressed his support for a relevant legislative measure, stating, “Too often, bureaucratic red tape gets in the way of proper forest management, contributing to the destructive wildfires we see throughout our state. The Fire Safe Electrical Corridors Act is a step towards reducing wildfire risk, and I’m proud to join @RepCarbajal in support.”

The following day, Valadao tweeted about the significance of Gold Star Spouses Day on April 5, 2025. He honored those who have lost loved ones in military service, underscoring national appreciation, stating, “Today on Gold Star Spouses Day, we honor the strength and sacrifice of those who have lost a loved one in service to our country. Our nation is forever grateful.”
