Did you know that West Hills College Lemoore offers hundreds of Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) courses? ZTC courses are courses that have zero cost for textbooks or learning materials. This is made possible with Open Educational Resources (OER).

Open Educational Resources give students immediate access to digital textbooks, and other educational resources, for free. Students can download up to date course materials on day one and can keep them after the course is completed. This eliminates the need to remember to return your rentals or sell back expensive textbooks that may be replaced by new editions at the end of your term.

Zero Textbook Cost courses have saved WHCL students over $5 million dollars to date.
