West Hills Community College District recently issued the following announcement.
Although the fall semester at West Hills College Lemoore has begun, students interested in enrolling in college this year can still register for 9-week classes.
WHCL is offering new 9-week classes that begin October 18, 2021. Health and safety measures on campus have been adhered to successfully. WHCL is offering a strong mix of face-to-face and online classes available to students.
“We have about 70 new 9-week classes starting on Monday, October 18, and hope that many of our students and community members will finish the 2021 year strong by taking some classes with us,” said Interim WHCL President James Preston. “We have financial support, zero-textbook-cost courses, and some of the best educators in the valley ready to provide high quality transferable General Education courses and skills-based Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses that will prepare students immediately for the workforce.”
In-person help with the registration process, financial aid, and college services will be available on campus Tuesday – Thursday from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM October 12-14. Students can call 559-925-3130 to schedule an appointment or for more information. Walk-ins will also be accepted this week.
