Hanford City Council took the following actions at last night's council meeting.

Your Hanford City Council took the following actions at last night's council meeting.

• Received presentation/update from Carnegie Museum of Kings County

• Received presentation from Flock Safety and Hanford PD about Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology to be installed at five city locations and possibility of purchasing additional cameras

• Approved Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Service Employees International Union Local 521 

• Approved work order with Visalia company for Professional Engineering Services for the site facilities design for Water Wells 51 and 52

• Awarded contracts to Kingsburg company for Civic Park Conduit Boring Project and Civic Park Electrical Project and establish a construction contingency for each project (will supply power for Winter Wonderland, other Civic Park events)

• Approved submission of 2021/22 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)

• Approved amendment to professional services agreement with Visalia company for design and professional engineering services for East Lacey Boulevard Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety project and for design of traffic signal at Lacey Boulevard and 9th Avenue
