Men's basketball continued its winning ways with a high-scoring 103-94 win over the Bethesda Flames.
Jake Heberle continued to fill up the stat sheet with 26 points on an impressive 10-11 from the field. He finished one rebound short of a double-double with nine boards.
Chapman took advantage of an early lead, scoring the game's first 13 points, and holding a 18-2 lead five minutes into the contest. The Panthers led wire-to-wire, eventually expanding the lead to 19 with eight minutes left in the first half.
Jack Roggin posted one of his best shooting performances of the season. The senior led the way with 13 points in the first half, shooting 5-6 from the field and 3-4 from deep. Roggin finished with 22 points, four assists and five rebounds.
The Panthers finished with four players in double figures, Heberle, Roggin, Blakeley Stoughton (17) and Cruz Billings (15).
Chapman will return to the hardwood once more before the new year on its eve, Dec. 31 at Whittier to take on the Poets in a SCIAC contest. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
