ORANGE, Calif. — Baseball routed its way to a much needed victory Tuesday, Mar. 7 at Hart Park, 18-9 over the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves.

A team that had only scored 31 runs through its first 10 games scored over half that total today, going through the order six full times, reaching lead off man Austin Dudas for a seventh plate appearance.

Chapman's bats were on fire the entire game scoring in seven out of its eight innings at bat. The Panthers tallied 21 hits and nine walks. Three of the hits and five of the runs came off the bat of Josh Phillips, who capped off his impressive offensive day with a grand slam in the seventh inning.

Cole Minato and Kai Osaka also nabbed three hits, while six Panthers had at least two knocks.

On the mound a total of seven pitchers got the job done, with Colin Godfrey earning the victory with two solid innings pitched and three punchouts.

The Panthers return to Hart this weekend to take on Webster, a team that just dropped out of the top-25 rankings this week, like the Panthers.
