Rep. David Valadao, a U.S. Congressman representing California's 22nd district, shared two significant updates on February 3, 2025, through his social media account.

In the first post, Rep. Valadao expressed his sorrow over the death of Kings County Fire Department Captain Mark Eads. He stated: "I’m saddened to learn of the passing of Kings County Fire Department Captain Mark Eads, who was serving our community when he made the ultimate sacrifice. Terra and I send our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family during this difficult time." This message reflects his empathy and support for Captain Eads' family during their loss.

Later that day, Rep. Valadao provided an update on a roundtable discussion he hosted concerning human trafficking. He mentioned: "Last Friday, I hosted a roundtable on human trafficking with @RepVinceFong and Central Valley Against Human Trafficking. We heard from organizations and lived-experience experts to better understand its impact and discussed strategies to combat it. Thanks to all who participated." The event aimed at understanding the issue more deeply and exploring potential solutions.
