On Sunday, March 16, former Sierra Pacific High School standout Kennedy Usher’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls.

The game took place at Brandt Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Cowgirls this season.

The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Mountain Lion Field against Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
