Wednesday, November 23rd at 2:00pm Running 4 Heroes – K9s will be at the Sheriff’s Office.

Ten-year-old Theresa Ann will run a mile while carrying a thin blue line K-9 flag in honor of fallen Kings County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Bluz.

The one mile run will start and end in front of the Sheriff’s Office backdropped by the Hanford Elks American Flag.  Once Theresa Ann returns from the run, she will write a note on the flag and the KCSO Honor Guard will fold the flag. It will then be presented to Senior Deputy Washburn who was Bluz’ partner.

Theresa Ann conducts these runs for K-9’s lost in the line of duty across the nation. She generally completes the runs in Las Vegas but Theresa Ann will be traveling through Kings County tomorrow. We are super excited that she can make this run here locally. It means so much to all of us at KCSO and specifically Senior Deputy Washburn and his family.

The route is through the Kings County Government Center and Lacey Blvd in front of our old Headquarters. The event is open for anyone to come! See everyone tomorrow afternoon around 1:30.
