City responds to power outage at The Woods Mobile Park

Clovis

City of Clovis recently issued the following announcement.

Update:

Power was restored to residents of The Woods Mobile Park at 11:08pm Tuesday. Thank you for the efforts of all involved who worked late into the night to get the job done.

PG&E continues to work on restoring power to The Woods Mobile Park. Residents have been informed that the City of Clovis has emergency shelter available for any who choose to take advantage of it. Also, City emergency personnel are working with the property management to check in on residents to ensure all of their needs are being met. If you know of anyone who needs assistance please contact Clovis Police at 324-2800.

Residents needing transportation to the Clovis Senior Activity Center on Wednesday should call 559-324-2760.

The City of Clovis is providing emergency meals and transportation to residents of The Woods Mobile Park impacted by a power outage.

Shuttles will run between the clubhouse and the Clovis Senior Activity Center from 10am- 4pm Tuesday. Seniors will have access to meals at the Senior Center, as well as electricity to charge their phones and other devices. Residents who require a pickup from their front door or have questions about transportation should contact Amy Hance at (559) 765-6032.

For residents who prefer to remain in their homes, we will be delivering meals door to door beginning at approximately 1:30pm.

PG&E is working with the property management at The Woods Mobile Park to restore power as quickly as possible.
