Rep. David Valadao, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California's 22nd district, shared recent legislative developments via his social media platform. The congressman highlighted two significant bills aimed at addressing wildfire response and human trafficking issues.

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Valadao announced the passage of his bill, the Emergency Wildfire Fighting Technology Act. He stated, " The House passed my bill, the Emergency Wildfire Fighting Technology Act! This expands our aerial firefighting capabilities and improves wildfire response. I'm proud to see this effort to strengthen fire suppression and keep Californians safe moving forward."

The following day, on February 6, 2025, Rep. Valadao addressed concerns regarding human trafficking in government contracts by introducing new legislation. He remarked, "Human trafficking is unacceptable, yet reports show federal agencies aren't acting to prevent it in government contracts. American taxpayers should never be complicit in trafficking, which is why I introduced the Ensuring Accountability & Dignity in Government Contracting Act."
