Rep. David Valadao, who represents California's 22nd District in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts highlighting his commitment to agriculture and healthcare initiatives. The tweets focus on National FFA Week and a meeting with Kern Medical's CEO regarding Medicaid funding.

On February 19, 2025, Rep. Valadao expressed his support for young leaders in agriculture during National FFA Week. He stated, "This National FFA Week, I want to recognize the young leaders who are shaping the future of agriculture. FFA provides students with the skills, knowledge, and leadership opportunities it takes to keep the industry strong, and I'm proud to support our next generation of producers."

On February 20, 2025, he announced his co-sponsorship of a resolution designating February 15-22 as National FFA Week. Valadao noted the significance of this program by stating, "I co-sponsored the resolution to designate February 15-22, 2025 as National FFA Week. FFA plays a critical role in supporting the next generation of producers who will carry on California's rich tradition of feeding our nation, and I'm proud to support this incredible program."

In another tweet dated February 21, 2025, Rep. Valadao mentioned a recent meeting with Scott Thygerson, CEO of Kern Medical. He discussed healthcare funding issues important to Central Valley families: "Last week, I met with @KernMedical CEO Scott Thygerson. We discussed the importance of Medicaid funding for the hospital and the critical services they provide. I remain committed to ensuring Central Valley families have access to reliable and affordable healthcare options."
