David Valadao engages with health care, energy, and justice in Central Valley

Rep. David Valadao, currently serving in U.S. Congress representing California’s 22nd district, shared updates on his recent activities through a series of tweets this week. Having assumed his congressional role in 2021 after serving in the California State Assembly, Valadao highlighted his ongoing engagement with local healthcare, energy, and public safety initiatives.

On April 17, Valadao tweeted, "This week, I met with Kern Family Health Care to discuss Medicaid. We spoke about the importance of the program for families in the Central Valley, and I reiterated my support. It was great hearing their perspective and I look forward to our continued conversations."

Later that day, Valadao announced his attendance at a local event, "I had a great time attending the Hanford Hybrid Energy Center Battery Storage Facility ribbon cutting. This is a milestone that represents not just progress for our local community, but a meaningful step forward for California's energy future."

On April 18, he shared another tweet, "This week, I met with the Kern County Probation Department. We spoke about their innovative strategies to reduce recidivism and support successful re-entry into society for people in the justice system. I truly appreciate their commitment to making Kern County safer."

David Valadao, 46, was born in Hanford, California, where he currently resides. His continued engagement in local affairs is consistent with his commitment to serving the residents of California’s 22nd district.
